Abstract

Women's empowerment and economic development are inextricably linked to one another and mutually reinforce one another. The reduction of inequality between men and women can be accomplished in a number of ways, one of which is by the sole effort of development. It is possible that empowering women could be advantageous to progress in the opposite manner. In spite of the fact that the world has made progress toward gender equality and women's empowerment in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include providing girls and boys with equal access to elementary education, women and girls continue to be subjected to discrimination and violence in every region of the world. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) intend to build on these accomplishments in order to guarantee that discrimination against women and girls is eradicated worldwide. Based on the findings of this study, it was determined that women require empowerment in the areas of personal, relational, and environmental aspects in order to advance gender equality and women's empowerment efforts all over the world.
