Abstract

The use of Mobile- Phone is found to be very common in Our day to day lives. In the Schools, too the school- administration, teachers and students are presently using Mobile- Phone quickly and frequently in the teaching-learning process and even in their assessment. The present research- study has been carried out to assess the perception of teachers towards the use of Mobile – Phone in the monitoring of students’ learning with reference to gender and their Science/non-Science background on the sample of teachers of Government Inter Colleges situated in Dehradun city area. In this empirical study, a self-developed questionnaire was used. The sub - groups of male e female and Science &non- Science background teachers were compared by determining t-values between their mean – values. It was concluded that gender plays a significant role but not the Science and non-Science background of the teachers.
