Abstract

The key purpose of this research work is to inspect the effect of customer motivated innovativeness, green image and privacy risks on the intention adoption of the drone food delivery service. The present work is carried out using the primary database. The sample for this study includes youth population residing in the Delhi-NCR region owing to the existence of a varied youth populace from diverse areas of the nation in this area and the eminence of utilization of food delivery services. A total of 350 responses were collected from the target population using convenience and judgmental sampling techniques. An adapted survey instrument was used for collecting the requisite information from the respondents. After ensuring the reliability and validity, regression analysis was run to explore the impact of independent variables on the acceptance intent of drone food delivery services. The analysis suggests that adoption intention is significantly influenced by all three variables namely, Motivated Customer Innovativeness, Green Image, and Privacy Concerns.  Privacy concerns negatively impacts while other two variables have a significant positive influence on the intention adoption. Limited sample size and use of survey instrument are considered as the limitations of the study. Future studies can be undertaken for exploring the impact of other factors such as cost aspect, delivery routes etc. on the adoption intention. Additionally, qualitative analysis can also be performed for analyzing the perception of individuals towards adoption intention of drone food delivery services.
