Abstract

There is the necessity of textual supporting instances of examples in order to prove the depth and vanity of any dogmatic scriptures. The implied examples carry more influence in the field of grammar. The analytical study of Pāṅinian Grammar is quite impossible in the absence of examples. The glossarial Sanskrit texts are highly emerged with examples. In this tradition Kāśikāvṛtti is a commentatry text on Astadhyayi of Panini. The authors Jayāditya and Vāmana were very much connected with the Vedic culture and thoughts. The present study is a humble attempt to investigate the semantic importance of some selected Vedic examples supplied in Kāśikāvṛtti.
