Scientometric Mapping of Research Productivity in Private Universities of Uttarakhand

Abstract

This paper examines the research output of private universities in Uttarakhand. Through the analysis of bibliometric data obtained from several academic databases, we aim to chart research output, explore productivity patterns and assess the relative performance of these institutions. This paper uses quantitative measures including publication counts, citation analysis and the h-index to comprehensively analyse the research environment in the private higher education sector in Uttarakhand. This study provides valuable insights into the determinants of research output and makes suggestions to improve academic research in these universities.
