Abstract

In a democratic country like India, the rule of law and the protection of rights are paramount for ensuring social justice. However, the gap between legal frameworks and citizens’ understanding of these rights remains significant. Legal literacy is very crucial in bridging this gap. Empowering individuals to assert their rights and participate meaningfully in the democratic process is basic requirement of a healthy democracy.
