The rapid advancement of technology has brought about significant changes in the way students access educational resources. Digital libraries and e-resources have become integral parts of academic learning, providing students with easier access to a wealth of information. This study focuses on students and faculties experiences with the digital library and e-resources at the University of Mysore. The primary goal is to understand how students perceive the usage of these resources and their impact on learning. The overall findings point to a positive shift in user behavior, making digital libraries an increasingly essential tool for academic and research communities and while students acknowledge the convenience and cost benefits of the digital library, there is a less favorable opinion about its impact on the quality of resources and skill development. The data can be used to improve the digital library's offerings, with a focus on enhancing digital literacy and ensuring high-quality information. Additionally, they recognized that online access is mostly related to their subjects and that the information available is authentic. Respondents also noted the cost-effectiveness of the digital library, which benefits both students and faculty members. Lastly this study has several implications for the University of Mysore's digital library services. While the students appreciate the convenience and accessibility offered by the library, further efforts should be made to enhance the quality of resources and improve digital literacy and skills development. This can be achieved through targeted training programs, better resource duration, and providing more focused tools to improve the quality of online content and learning outcomes.
