Globalization has had a transformative impact on the social and economic lifestyle of the Shillekyathas. While it has brought economic opportunities such as better market access, technological advancements, and government assistance, it has also posed challenges, including the erosion of traditional livelihoods, competition from mass-produced goods, and the displacement of the nomadic lifestyle. Globalization has led to a greater emphasis on formal education, with many Shillekyathas now sending their children to school and even to colleges and universities. This study explores the impact of globalization on the social lifestyle of the Shillekyatha community, focusing on the cultural, social, and familial changes they have experienced due to global influences in society changes. As a result, there is a growing shift away from traditional occupations and towards education-based employment, particularly in urban centers. Young Shillekyathas are increasingly pursuing careers in fields such as engineering, medicine, business, and technology, seeking urban employment opportunities rather than continuing in their community's traditional economic practices. In response to globalization, various organizations and government bodies are offering skill development programs to help Shillekyathas adapt to modern economic changes in the country.
