Abstract

Besides being more cost-effective, internet banking also helps banks build their brand and attract more potential customers. The rapid emergence and evolution of private sector banks has led to the development of Net banking, which is a type of financial service that allows customers to bank with their preferred bank instead of the branch. While the public sector banks are still lagging behind, the State Bank of India has started to make a modest contribution to the growth of this industry.
