Opponents of Advaitavedānta

Abstract

Intellectual wars are essential for the establishment and sustenance of a philosophical system.  Often, philosophers oppose each other while engaged in debates to propound their concepts.  This process contributes to the development or existence of a philosophical system.  While engaged in debates, i.e. when philosophers combat with their opponents, tend to end up in a confrontational state.  Leading debates without getting unfocused and opposing challengers reverentially is a positive quality of a philosophical debate.  Here, the philosophy of Advaitavedānta is the topic for study focusing on its treatment to opponent philosophers.
